KisaPlay is a live tournament prediction product for sports fans. It brings score predictions, match schedules, rules, live context and points comparison into one place.

The product is built for major competitions such as the FIFA World Cup, where schedules, match states, lock times and scoring rules have to stay clear throughout the event. It is not a one-off campaign page. The structure can support different tournaments, phases and scoring models.

What it is

At the surface, KisaPlay is easy to understand: choose a competition, make predictions, follow matches and compare points.

Underneath that simple idea, the product has to handle real event messiness: different schedules, match states, score behaviour, rules, lock times, statistics and operational updates. Registration also has to be light enough that people actually join, so the homepage uses a magic-link email flow instead of a heavy account setup.

The user experience should feel casual. The rules and data model cannot be.

Why it stands out

Prediction products live or die by trust. If users do not understand what counts, when predictions lock or how points are calculated, the whole thing starts to feel like a spreadsheet pool in a nicer jacket.

KisaPlay avoids that by making the rules explicit. The Finnish page explains that predictions use the regular-time score, lock five minutes before kick-off and reward exact scores, correct results and close goal estimates. That is not decorative copy. It is product infrastructure written in human language.

The page also keeps the operational side visible: next matches, live score paths, statistics, news, sponsor information and contact details all sit inside the same product surface. It feels like a service that can be run during an event, not a prototype parked on the internet.

Product mechanics

KisaPlay combines:

  • Competition switching across tournaments and event phases
  • Score prediction and points logic
  • Match schedules, live scores and viewing links
  • Statistics and standings-style views
  • Magic-link login and low-friction registration
  • News updates for feature changes and service communication
  • Sponsor and partner visibility

The value is not any single feature. It is the way they become one coherent tournament companion.

Why this matters for clients

KisaPlay is a useful proof point for products where value depends on live data, timely action and repeat engagement.

That could mean sports, events, internal competitions, campaign experiences, customer communities or any service where users need to return at the right moment and understand what to do next.

It demonstrates how to:

  • turn a familiar behaviour into a structured product
  • design around real schedules and time-sensitive actions
  • make rules clear enough that users trust the system
  • support repeatable tournament models
  • connect web delivery with a clear engagement loop
