I started building software on home computers and early PCs, then moved into the early web. That habit of learning a platform by making something with it has stayed with me.

I’m Petteri Kolehmainen, a technology consultant, software builder and speaker based in Kirkkonummi, Finland.
Thirty years of
changing technology.
I’ve worked across software development, agency leadership and product delivery. I’m most useful where product ambition meets technical detail: choosing a direction, testing an idea and helping a team deliver it.
Through Petterik Oy, I focus on AI strategy and training, spatial computing and digital product development. My independent projects keep me close to the tools and the decisions involved in building a service.
My role at EVERSANA
Technology in life sciences.
I continue to work as VP, Innovative Technologies at EVERSANA, focusing on AI, spatial computing and digital health. The role gives me the opportunity to explore emerging platforms and work at the leading edge of technology.
My work at EVERSANA and its predecessor organisations includes clinical-trial technology, software as a medical device, MDR and GCP-related projects. This is part of my employment background; I am not currently offering digital-health or regulated medical-software projects through Petterik Oy.
As part of that work, I co-authored research on measuring tremor with consumer devices.

A career spent building.
Web, mobile and connected products
I built a student community, helped develop a mobile business and worked at Nokia in roles spanning engineering, management and customer relationships. Independent consulting followed.
Design, startups and new interfaces
I co-founded startups and Make Helsinki, bringing software, design and product work together. My work expanded into VR and publicly funded innovation.
From Make Helsinki to Healthware and EVERSANA
Healthware acquired Make Helsinki, opening up more international work. When EVERSANA later acquired Healthware, our team became part of EVERSANA.
Advisory and hands-on product work
I continue to work at EVERSANA, where I explore emerging AI and spatial computing technologies. Alongside that role, I offer AI strategy, training and product development through Petterik Oy, and build independent products.
Outside work
Room for other interests.
I live with my family in Kirkkonummi, close to Helsinki. Forests, the sea and fishing provide a change of pace. I play music, cook, read and find excuses to experiment with home automation and new devices.
I also play floorball. Some projects are best tackled away from a screen.
